The following video clips are scenes of the busy Ida Bay Railway during summer 1994. Malcolm Moore petrol locos are running through services between Lune River and Coles Beach whilst Hunslet 0-4-0 steam loco (No. 6) provides a push-pull short service for passengers changing trains at Ida Bay Junction back to Lune River.
Between Lune River and Ida Bay Junction, two trains occupy the one section, the train from Coles Beach setting down passengers at the old platform then reversing back to allow the Hunslet from Lune River to collect them before propelling its train back to Lune River. The then empty through-train follows the Hunslet back up the hill to Lune River depot.
